Give Mama a Kiss

I'm behind in blogging all Cade's milestones. The day is coming when my blog will be updated more frequently but for now I'll leave You with this gem of a video. Cade is learning so much! He most definitely knows, "give mama a kiss." I'll take as many as he gives. Untitled from Jenny on Vimeo .

Smiles

The long winter keeps getting longer and we're trying to keep smiling inside the 4 walls of our house. Admittedly, we are all a little bored. Spring, hurry please! We have a terrible case of cabin fever. Untitled from Jenny on Vimeo . Untitled from Jenny on Vimeo .

Snapshots

Nothing out of the ordinary. These are just a couple fun snapshots that make me happy. I love the after bath jammie time with slippers and robe, mismatched in a way that makes me want to scoop him up and hug him. He looks so snuggly. He's four but thankfully there is still a teeny tiny bit of baby fat left and sometimes I still catch glimpses of his baby face that is quickly fading. I cannot even think of him being 5. Love the cheesy grin! And Cade. Our baby. I have no words. He is sweet and darling and happy all the time. He is rolling over from his back to his tummy. If he could figure out how to not get stuck on his shoulder he could roll from his belly to his back, but he can only get his little butt rolled over. Since he's my third I'm hanging on to him not being mobile for as long as I can. Also news worthy: Aiden lost another tooth. I suspect the Tooth Fairy will come tonight. The dentist told me once he looses 2 more teeth it's off to the orthodon...

One of the Big Boys

This little baby has some fat rolls! I love it! I haven't had him weighed recently and I can't remember how much the other 2 weighed at this age. But, Cad e is just shy of  5 months and I've been digging out 9-12 month clothes. I know the other boys wore the size that matched their age or even slightly under so Cade is my baby roly poly baby! Cade is turning into my big boy! He'll always be my baby but Cade thinks he can run with the big boys and clearly lets me know when he isn't happy with me and wants to play with his brothers. I set Cade in his bouncy seat beside me to fold laundry and he was not happy about it. So, I propped him up in his boppy with Aiden and Sage playing legos and Cade was happy there while I folded mulitple baskets of clothes. Aiden especially loves to hang out with Cade and gives him lots of attention. Cade is captivated by his big brother. Sage doesn't pay as much attention but loves him just the same. Sage...my 2...

We are Minnesotans!

I had planned on going to the Homeschooling store in Elk River today. The only homeschooling store in the 8 state area just happens to be 45 minutes from me. And the couple that owns the store are fabulous. I needed to go today because I needed to look at curriculum for next year. I also needed to go and spend time soaking in the wisdom of the lady who works there. I needed to hear her say things like, "That book is an excellent choice." and "Have you seen this new science book?" and "Your kids are so little and already know so much you're doing a fabulous job." and "You don't need to start Latin or formal writing yet. They are too young." and mostly, "It's all going to be okay." So when a snow storm threatened and a winter storm warning was issued I threw caution to the wind and went anyway. The weather people are forever over predicting snow fall totals and over exaggerating the strength of the storm. I felt my choice was ...

Minneapolis Love

Lunch with our family on Sunday was at the Spaghetti Factory in one of my favorite parts of town...by the Mill City Ruins and Stone Arch Bridge. I love living here.
